Accessibility Statement.
Joy Care Unit serves families of children with disabilities and complex medical needs. Everyone should be able to use our website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our Commitment
Joy Care Unit is committed to making our website accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the standard recognized under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
What We Do
Some of the ways we work to keep this site accessible:
- Text and buttons have enough color contrast to be easy to read
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link
- Form fields are labeled so screen readers can announce them, and required fields are clearly marked
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
- Pages use clear headings and work when text is zoomed up to 200%
- Animation is turned off for visitors who set their device to reduce motion

Ongoing Effort
We review this website for accessibility as we add new pages and features. Some content from other companies, such as embedded maps or third-party services, may not be fully within our control, but we will help you get the same information another way.
